This is the Central Bobbin Type 3A "the product of years of research and the work of precison trained specialists", sold by British Sewing Machines Ltd., post WWII perhaps around 1951. The machine has a Threadlite motor with foot control (of the kind used by Jones and Vickers at the time). Available in either black or cream stoved enamel.

See the [Vickers Album] for other examples of BSM sold machines.
