128-4

128 models are size machines with a bed length of 12 inches long. Similar but larger machines are 127s. 128 models have improvements over the Singer 28, but 28s continued to be manufactured by Singer until at least the 1941 in Kilbowie and to 1918 in America. The 128 was produced until 1952 in America and 1962 in Kilbowie.
The 128-4 is a hand crank machine with a high bobbin winder, automatic tension release, shuttle eject button and a pear shaped rear inspection plate. See Identifying Singer VS Machines for further information, comparisons and Kilbowie variations.
