Bernina 730

Brought out in 1963. The Bernina Record 730 sews different types of fabric without the thread tension needing adjustment. The unique CB hook prevents jamming. Free arm. Slant feet to ensure a clear view, feet snap on without the use of screws. The darning foot is specially sprung to accommodate thick padding or thin fabric. Pattern indicator lever adjustment for 20 basic patterns for endless varieties. Concealed bobbin winder, light above the needle sewing point. Two speed motor. Double-foot control so that two feet may regulate the speed. Also knee lever, in fact it was the first Bernina with a patented knee-activated presser foot lifter. Swing out accessories box.
