10. Singer 31K47 - After Restoration

Courtesy of Nigel Horne. The machine has been re-built using all the original parts except, 2 new grub screws for the Presser and needle bar, a new needle bar thread guide and also a new dog feed. All of the other parts have been refurbished and refinish as per the factory, this includes re-blacking the appropriate parts using the same hot caustic process used originally. The table top has been re-polished due to the level of wear on the top and the bobbin wider assembly has been cleaned and then painted and a replacement new "beehive" tension spring has been made, due the original one being missing. Finally the machine has been "Stitched off" to make sure that it is timed up and working correctly.
