Dietrich High Arm TS - 'Volmerhus'

#871683, courtesy of Bernard Pokorski. A possible indication that this machine is later rather than earlier in production is the use of metal surrounding the treadle belt holes, also the use of a wooden rather than the earlier white porcelain handle favoured by the majority of German sewing machine companies in earlier days. The wooden handle is original to this model of Dietrich machine with the same logo badge. The bobbin winder has an extension to fit a needle grinding wheel.
